As industry professionals we will firmly say ‘yes’! Here are three reasons why.
First of all because as a couple you want this day to be perfect. You may not know all the details which you need to know and professionals do (style, booking process, gown, rings, ceremony, venue, decoration, light, weather, photo session, dress-code and many many others). A professional wedding planner will help you keep in mind what you have to, match what needs to be matched from the very beginning (styles, the whole event, dress, groom’s look, flowers, venue, colors, all the tiny details etc.), create the timing and day’s schedule for it to run smoothly for you and your guests.
Second, as a bride you do not want to work as an event manager during one of the most important days of your life, especially if you have 50+ guests. You would also probably want to relieve your groom and guests of these duties. You want to relax and have fun.
Last, but by no means least, is your budget. You may think that the wedding planner’s fees will take from what you could have spent on the wedding itself and be mistaken. A good wedding planner will always help you stay within your budget by giving recommendations on what is really needed and how to save on something. In addition, she or he will always have discounts from the partners (wedding gown and suits shops, florists and decorators, photographers and videographers, accessories, etc.) which you will never get if you are just an ordinary customer from the street.
